Plymouth man cited after leaving injury crash scene

A man will be cited after  leaving the scene of a car accident Nov. 24, in order to drive himself to the hospital.

Steven j. Robinson, 47, crashed his car after driving through a T-intersection and off the road west of Plymouth around 10 p.m. After driving off the road, he ran a stop sign and hit an embankment which sent his Dodge Ram pickup into the air.

He arranged his own ride to the hospital and called the sheriff’s department around 7 a.m. to report the accident.

He is cited with failure to stop at a stop sign, hit and run, failure to report and accident and not wearing a seat belt.
