14 accidents reported in Sheboygan during snowstorm

At least 14 vehicular accidents were recently reported in Sheboygan County due to poor road conditions caused by a snowstorm. Before 10:00 a.m. on February 2, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office began receiving reports of traffic-related incidents.

In all the accidents reported during the day, only one, a collision that occurred in the town of Greenbush, resulted in minor injuries. Almost all of the crashes resulted in property damages, and some incidents ended with vehicles landing in ditches alongside the roads. Lieutenant John Detienne reported seeing destructive effects of these collisions, including several “crunched bumpers” on vehicles that were involved in accidents.

In one of the incidents, a tractor driver was cited for failing to yield at an intersection and causing collision with a semi-truck on Scenic View Drive.
