Repeat DUI offender taken into custody in Milwaukee

Milwaukee authorities arrested a man when he was found to be intoxicated after he was observed driving erratically on April 21, an online Fox 6 article stated.

Reports provided by officials showed that at around 1:00 a.m., traffic personnel saw a speeding vehicle failing to stay within lanes and heading south on Interstate 794, near the Oklahoma Avenue exit. Vehicle driver Thomas Ciesielczyk, 51, who has four previous DUI convictions, blew a 0.109 in a preliminary breath test upon apprehension. The suspect admitted to the sheriff’s deputy that he drank beer, although he claimed it was only one. A maximum jail time of 6 ½ years may await Ciesielczyk if he is convicted of the offense.
