Teenage driver involved in Belle Plaine fatal crash arrested

The driver who was involved in a fatal accident in Belle Plaine last year has been recently arrested by Shawano authorities, an article on Fox 11 stated April 12.

Reports said authorities arrested 18-year-old Ryan Swadner for his participation in the deadly two-vehicle accident that happened October 21. Swadner was reportedly speeding at the time of the accident. Authorities stated that the young man swerved to avoid another vehicle, crossed the center lane of HWY 22, and hit an SUV. Passengers Cody Borsche, 17; Paige Brunette, 15; and Tyler Welch, 18 were killed. The man in the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Swadner had to be airlifted to a hospital to address his injuries. He is currently being held on a $15,000 bond, and is expected to appear in court on April 13.
