American athlete charged in Colorado speeding accident

Citations were recently filed against athlete Lance Armstrong due to his involvement in an accident in Aspen, Colorado, a February 4 article on BBC reported.

Aspen Police alleged that Lance, 43, drove away after a speeding and reckless driving accident at a ski resort. The accident reportedly resulted in damage to two vehicles that were parked along the street. Earlier reports said that responsibility was attributed to Anna Hansen after she told police that she was driving when the collision occurred. Anna apparently made false statements to authorities. Police later confirmed that Lance was the person behind the wheel after gathering information at the accident scene. Armstrong may face imprisonment and pay penalty if found guilty. He is expected to appear in court on March 17.

Fortunately no one was injured in the speeding accident caused by Armstrong. However, if you believe your accident was caused by a reckless driver then financial assistance may be awarded to you to restore your damaged vehicle.
