Pedestrian seriously injured in Milwaukee crash

A woman recently was in serious condition in a hit and run collision in Milwaukee, an article by FOX 6 stated on January 21.

The hit and run accident reportedly occurred before midnight at the crossing of Wells and 17th Streets. A 25-year-old female graduate student of Marquette University was crossing Wells when a westbound vehicle struck her. Though the driver fled from the accident scene, authorities were able to get a description of the vehicle though recorded pictures from a security camera. Milwaukee Police now are looking for a Chevy Lumina sedan that may have some dents on the front-end or damaged windshield. People who may have information about the vehicle or the pedestrian accident are asked to call the police.

Sadly, pedestrians often suffer serious injuries after being hit by vehicles, sometimes resulting in life-long disabilities or even death.
