Driver in Sheboygan accident sentenced to prison

The drunk driver involved in a Sheboygan crash last July was sentenced to 30 days in prison and 2 years of probation after pleading guilty to felony drunk driving charges.

John Krizenesky, 65, of Elkhart Lake caused the July drunk driving accident. While under the influence of alcohol, Krizenesky drove into a utility pole, causing the connected power lines to fall on Malachi Blanke, 8. Blanke sustained electrical burns over 20% of his body and has since undergone multiple surgeries addressing his injuries.
