Chrysler to recall more than 660,000 vehicles for safety problems

More than half of a million Chrysler vehicles will be recalled because of varying electrical defects.

In the current recall, 224,254 caravans and minivans were found to be affected by electric polarity issues that may cause the side airbags to deploy on the wrong side during side impact. Additionally, 442,481 other Chrysler vehicles were also affected by faulty micro-controllers that are supposed to protect the head from whiplash injuries during rear crash accidents.

Dealers will start reprogramming the control system or replacing the control module for free starting next month.

Defective vehicles may cause you and your loved ones injuries that range in severity. However, if you have been injured in a car accident in Sheboygan caused by such a defect, a lawyer from Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. may be able to help you pursue compensation from the negligent manufacturers.
