2 woman injured in north-side crash

Two women were reportedly hurt in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North 25th Street and North Avenue on the afternoon of June 5.

According to reports, the accident happened at around 2 p.m. when a southbound vehicle driven by an 80-year-old woman entered the intersection of North Avenue and was struck by another vehicle driven by a 54-year-old woman. A Sheboygan police officer said both women, whose names were withheld, sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash, but only the 54 year-old woman was taken to a hospital.

The 80-year-old woman was cited for failure to the right of way from a stop sign, police said.
