Motorcyclist injured in accident

A motorcyclist was injured after his motorcycle struck a car on Highway 42 the afternoon of April 30.

Reports coming from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said motorcyclist Robert Dobrzynski, 55, was heading north on Highway 42 at around 4 p.m. when he struck a southbound vehicle driven by Norbert Ruge, 77, who was about to turn left on North 40th Street. Dobrzynski was ejected from his bike and afterwards taken to St. Nicholas Hospital due to injuries he sustained from the crash.Authorities noted Dobrzynski was wearing a helmet and eye protection when the accident occurred.

Ruge was not injured in the crash, but was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way when turning left.
