Heavy snow causes several accidents in Sheboygan

On Friday night in Sheboygan, thick snow blanketed the roadways causing numerous accidents in the area. Sheboygan Police said that there were three accidents on Friday that caused injuries to individuals.

The weather also caused 33 cars to crash into ditches throughout Sheboygan. Most of those cars were found in ditches along Interstate 43, and Wisconsin highways 23 and 57. The airport in Sheboygan reported six inches of snow fall during the storm on Friday.

The snowstorm led different sporting events in the area to be postponed. Emergency crews were out trying to clear the streets over the weekend, and said that the sun helped tremendously in the process. There is a chance for snow throughout the week, and drivers have been urged to drive with caution in Sheboygan.
