Seven people hurt in Orfordville accident

In Rock County, Wisconsin on Sunday night a two-car accident occurred on the Wisconsin 213 highway. Both drivers as well as all passengers were injured in the accident. Harsh weather conditions as well as high speeds were part of the reason why a 39-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle in a northbound lane on Wisconsin 213.

The car crossed over into the southbound lanes of the highway, ultimately colliding with another vehicle. The woman was traveling with her husband as well as four children, ages 16, 10, 4 and 3. The children suffered minor injuries and the other three people involved were severely injured.

After the accident, the highway was closed for approximately one hour while the police were investigating the causes of the crash.
