A Sheboygan man is facing charges of reckless endangerment after traveling 92 mph in his vehicle and ultimately crashing it, injuring both himself and his passenger.

The 25-year-old was driving near Bluff Avenue when he accelerated to 92 mph in a 25 mph zone causing his car to leave the ground near a railroad intersection. The vehicle hit a parked car as well as a tree before coming to a stop. Both the driver and his 21-year-old passenger received severe injuries.

If convicted, the 25-year-old could face a prison sentence of five years. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
