Two Injured in Sheboygan Auto Accident

Two people were injured in a Sheboygan auto accident Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sergeant Scott Reinke of the Sheboygan Police Department, the accident occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of South 13th Street and Clara Avenue. Reinke said a 2003 Ford Explorer, driven by a 19 year-old woman, was traveling east on Clara Avenue and failed to stop at a stop sign. The Ford pulled into the path of a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by a 27 year-old woman, and the two vehicles collided.

The Explorer then struck a 2006 Buick Lucerne that was parked on Clara Avenue. The Explorer moved up onto the side walk, over a grass embankment and rolled onto the driver’s side.

The injured people were in the Aveo, Reinke said. A 27 year-old woman and another passenger, whose age was not available, were transported by the Sheboygan Fire Department to an area hospital with minor injuries.
