Two Injured in Sheboygan Auto Accident

Two people were injured in a Sheboygan car accident Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Taylor Drive and New Jersey Avenue, according to officials with the Sheboygan Police Department. Police say 19 year-old Mang Vang was traveling south on Taylor drive in a 2000 Honda Civic when he was rear-ended by a 2008 Acura TL while slowing for a light at New Jersey Avenue.

The driver of the Acura, 31 year-old Moua Yang told police he was not paying attention at the time of the crash. He was cited for inattentive driving.

Vang complained of back pain and was transported to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Yang was treated at the scene and released.
