Woman Injured in Sheboygan Auto Accident

A woman was injured in a Sheboygan auto accident late Sunday, after sliding into another vehicle on a snow covered road in the Town of Plymouth.

According to officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, 21 year-old Danielle Madison was injured in an accident on county Highway P, north of Branch Road, shortly after 11:30 p.m. Authorities say Madison lost control of her 2007 Chevy Cobalt on a curve, crossed the center-line of the roadway, and stuck the passenger side of an oncoming 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Mark Rupnik said Madison was transported by ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital after the accident, where she was treated and released. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions and not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Santa Fe, 64 year-old Kathleen Olsen, was not injured in the crash.
