County board member convicted of 4th OWI offense

A board member of Outagamie County has been convicted of his 4th OWI offense and has been ordered to serve jail time.

70 year-old Appleton resident Peter Beckley entered a plea of no contest to the court. He has been ordered to serve a 120 day jail sentence and to pay over $1,700 in fines.

Beckley also had his driver’s license revoked for a three-year period. When his driving privileges are restored, he will be required to have an ignition interlock device installed in his vehicle.
