3 Injured in Sheboygan Auto Accident

A Sheboygan car accident injured three people Thursday morning.

According to officials with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department, the two-vehicle accident occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Police say a vehicle driven by 76 year-old Betty Bonde, of Kiel, pulled out from a stop sign on County Highway X into the path of a southbound truck on County Highway A.

Bonde was transported by ambulance to Theda Clark Hospital after the crash, police say. Her passenger, 85 year-old Sylvia Noworatzky, also of Kiel, was taken to Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan.

The 52 year-old truck driver, from Two Rivers, was transported to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. He sustained only minor injuries in the crash, according to the accident report.

Officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol say all of the victims were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
