Woman Injured in Sheboygan Rollover Accident

A Sheboygan woman was injured in a rollover accident Sunday night in the Town of Sheboygan.

According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. on county Highway Y, just north of county Highway O. Police say 56 year-old Mark Heronymous, of Sheboygan, was driving a 2001 Corvette northbound on Highway Y when he lost control of the vehicle. The Corvette started to spin, left the road, and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof, said State Patrol Sgt. Brad Seymour.

Heronymous was not injured in the crash, but 48 year-old Lisa A. Olsen, a passenger in the Corvette, had to be extracted using the Jaws of Life. Olsen was transported, by helicopter, to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.

Police continue to investigate the accident.
