Car splits in half, injuring driver

A Sheboygan man, 19 years-old, was charged with drunk driving, racing, and speeding after his car was found in Wilson, Wis., split in half. The crash happened Saturday night.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 8pm on the eastbound side of Stahl Road in the town of Wilson. The driver was racing another vehicle, and lost control of his own car at some point. As his Nissan careened through nearby trees, the body of the car was cut in half from multiple impacts. The man was found by his girlfriend in the passenger compartment, and taken to be treated at a nearby hospital.

There was no report as to the level of the driver’s injuries, but he did survive the event.

As miraculous as this occurrence may appear, many cases of drunk driving and reckless driving do not end without severe injury or fatalities.
