Woman dies in 2-vehicle crash

A 65-year-old woman died Friday morning when the driver of the vehicle in which she rode ran into a pickup truck in Manitowoc County, Wis., authorities said. Police said she was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the minivan upon impact. She died on the scene from head, neck and chest injuries incurred in the car accident, authorities said.

The 39-year-old driver of the minivan was taken to the hospital with neck and back pain, police said, and she was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. The 62-year-old woman driving the pickup truck was airlifted to the hospital, authorities said.
