Fog Causes 40-Vehicle Pileup

Thick, sudden fog caused a 40-car pileup in Sheboygan County on Friday morning, police said, injuring 15 people. All but one of the injured were treated at Appleton Medical Center and released, authorities said. A 60-year-old man is listed as in serious condition, but medical personnel think his injuries are not life-threatening.

Several people involved in the crash said the weather was clear and sunny until they drove into a sudden cloud of thick fog. Police are still investigating the crash.
